Ho Hum

I WISH I could get to the point where I could think of things to write every day. But some days are just days, and they flit by uneventfully.

I must say, though, this is the longest I've EVER lasted in my attempts to write or keep a journal!

But adventure is always right around the corner, and in my mind's eye, I see blog material materializing very soon.

Unfortunately for you, my lovely readers (Hi again, Mom), it looks like it'll begin with another animal puke story.

But I won't dwell on it OR take photos, as much as I may be tempted.

And the story has no place to go but up! But it's still unfolding, so I must keep you in suspense. There's a sombrero involved, if that helps.

Hi-been reading your old posts when I get the chance-trying to figure out where you live! You said you were from around here but where did you go and why?? Did you meet hubby here or there? You could blog about that. Not that I don't want to hear the puke story. I never mind a good story about that, being and LNA I have a strong stomach.

Hi IA, I live in Portsmouth, VA - both my hubby and I grew up in Rochester; met while at Spaulding, and started dating the summer before my 11th grade year. Ooh, I have an idea - my daughter blogged about our past for our anniversary: http://homeschoolblogger.com/drgnfly1010

I attended True Memorial Baptist most of my growing up years. My dad goes to a church in New Durham now; he's an organist and plays for lots of funerals in Rochester at the funeral homes, churches, etc.

So more about you - do you work through Frisbee? I think I saw that you were 40 - that's my sister's age; I'm 4 years older. Do you go to church in Rochester?

I read your daughter's story-very nice. She's blessed to have grown up in a godly home.
I work for Seacoast Hospice right now but I interviewed at Frisbie this past week and I'm hoping to get in there. They have built a new wing and are trying hard not to be a hick hospital anymore. lol.
We have been housechurching for the past 3 years. Before that I went to Milton Assembly of God for 10 years, it's where I was saved. Hubby didn't get saved until 10 years after me. It was tough. Praise God he loves the Lord now!
