Under His Wing

This little guy was signing his name on cards for our card ministry at church tonight. He's a cute 6-year-old who loves to play and sing and run around with the other kids.

But his life is a little different than the other boys' at church.

"Billy" lives at Victory Home with his dad, who came into the program a few months ago. Billy's dad has a big responsibility, trying to raise his child at the same time that he strives to change his life. It's not easy, but his dad is determined and committed, and God is doling out lots of grace. Billy is a big part of our "family" now and he has adjusted wonderfully. He's the first child Victory Home has ever had.

Pray for Billy and his dad if you get a chance. And come to church this Sunday if you'd like to see Billy sing a song (in front of everyone!). He can't wait, and neither can I. I love to see God's grace in action!
