Buckle Up

Once a year, Flutterbug does a program for the kids at church that involves a time machine. This is her fourth year. It's always a big hit - the kids travel back to Bible times to learn neat lessons, and the activities and crafts and games are tied in to the lessons.

I thought you might enjoy a little tour of the extraordinary vehicle.

Flutterbug took a short video of the kids tonight - it was the first night of the series and they were psyched!

If you could travel back in time, where, I mean when, would you go?

LOL - traveling back 40 years to the era of orange shag! hehehe! "Ample backside" hehehe! Hyper excited kids! HEHEHE! So glad I wasn't in charge!

Cool time machine, kudos to Flutterbug!

I would travel back to spend a day or two in the colonial era and see how people survived without electricity.

The Time Machine is awesome. You can see and hear that the kids love it. I particularly enjoyed the time tunnel commentary; made me smile, then chuckle. It's a great trip 'when' you're enjoying learning.

Oh, I think I'd like to go back to the disco dancing days and do the Hustle...then even further..to the time of corsets (I've always wanted to see how small it could make my waist)... and of course I'd like to be there when Jesus walked the Earth. Think Flutterbug could work that out for me?

Greetings Melanie (Timber),

I decided to follow your blog after a friend of yours signed my guestbook from seeing me as blog of the month on CWO (an undeserved recognition). She mentioned your site so I wanted to check you out. I have enjoyed viewing your site and followed you on Facebook. It's a pretty nifty place you have here. :D

Also, I meant to write that I don't recall the womans name that signed my guessbook or what her website/blog is? Can you ask her to drop me a line to leave her blog information so I can thank her for her kind words? Also, I invite you to follow my husband and my blog as well, if you feel inclined to. However, not through facebook because we'll be closing that account soon, but rather through blogger

www.godsnotfinishedwithusyet.com.

And please don't forget to let me know who the kind woman was that signed my guessbook and mentioned your blog. I'll try to check again...she just didn't leave any comment as to where she has a blog which I'd be interested in viewing. Her words were very sweet. Blessings,
Jesse and Sarah
