Goodbye...and Hello!

Flutterbug has been dancing around our little church
since she was just a year old.
That's a lot of dancing...
...and singing...
...praying...
...worshipping...
...laughing...
(like the time we noticed, during the sermon, that Mike was wearing two different shoes, and I thought I'd swallow my tongue from holding in my snorts)
(or THESE times...)

We'll miss that little church - sooooooo many memories.

BUT...

We're so excited to be bringing our whole congregation with us to another church just a few miles away. It's a BIG church building, the kind you could easily get lost in...the kind with more than one tiny bathroom...the kind with halls wide enough that you don't have to turn sideways and suck in your stomach to let someone pass.

They needed a pastor and more people, and we needed breathing room, and God plopped us right together!

We had our first service on Sunday, and it was wonderful to worship together in unity and love.

And we'll be just fine, following Paul's advice in Colossians:

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances
you may have against one another.
Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ dwell in your hearts,
since as members of one body you were called to peace.
And be thankful.

We're thankful! (and I'm checking Mike's shoes before he leaves the house.)
