Monday: Funday

I have a confession to make.

I'm sitting in my comfy chair,
and watching a good
movie,
and eating...

candy corn. (Shhh.)

It's been pretty busy for a day off. A woman moved into our spare room on Saturday (Mom, you may be 50o miles away but I can hear you: "Oh, Melanie!"). She's very little trouble, but it does make life a little busier.

I dropped her off at the church this morning and headed off to the thrift store to work for a while - the regular guy had an appointment. Then I came home and worked on finances and paperwork of all varieties.

Flutterbug and I went to the grocery store and Blockbuster, and then hurried home to make supper. Popped two quiches with broccoli and ground beef into the oven and headed back out to pick up "that lady."

I can't seem to get her name to roll off my tongue. It's not a strange name - I just can't ever think of it . At least I don't call her the wrong name, like Mike has been doing all weekend!

I'm thrilled that "that lady" cleaned the kitchen after supper, while I did a little more paperwork. And now we are finally "off."

Movie is playing,
popcorn is popping,
legs are reclining,
doggie is dozing,
"That Lady" is also dozing
and
candy corn is calling.

Until tomorrow!

So glad you got it. It took me about 5 minutes to get it just right. :^)

I love to see people actually LIVING God's Word! I am that type also, sometimes to the distress of my family. I've recently adopted the bag boy at our local shopping center. Who knows, we may be entertaining angels unaware!
