Quintessential Treasure

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field.

When a man found it, he hid it again,

and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

---Matthew 13:44

Now here's a peculiar treasure that beats all other treasures!

A wee baby, born in a stinky stable, all God, all man. 

He grows, he teaches, he loves, he lays down his life

and takes the Father's punishment for our sins

upon himself.

He defies all laws of nature and humanity, rising from the dead,

and now he's busy prepping heaven for us

and prepping us for heaven!

Soooo....on one hand,

our stuff,

(a.k.a. trash)

and on the other,

Jesus, the

Greatest. Treasure. Ever.

Seems like a no-brainer, doesn't it?

Then for heaven's sake, what are you WAITING for???!
