Two Days to Go

Wednesdays are always busy - it's get-all-the-music-ready-for-Sunday day, and Beth-Moore-Bible-study day, and rehearsal day, and lots-of-other-things day.

And in spite of all that, I got the porch all cleaned up for Friday night! The bad dream that woke me up this morning was a great help - I got an early start on the day. We have paint cans in colors I've never used or even seen. I'm wondering if the neighbors are sneaking their unwanted paint onto our porch at night?

All the rest of the messes are still everywhere, with a few additions, like a family room strewn with mini Junior Mint boxes (empty). Flutterbug brought a whole bag home and you-know-who ate them. One teeny box at a time.

Tomorrow I'll be waking up really early - Mike leaves the house at 6:30 for a weekly networking meeting and he gets ready in the bedroom, since we have a houseguest right now, and just when I think I might be able to drift off again, he'll sit on the edge of the bed to put on his socks and shoes. Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle. I'm usually a little cranky on Thursday mornings....

Hopefully, I'll be pricing books by 9am; I'll be giving a tour to a potential volunteer at 11, meeting another volunteer at the thrift store at 12 with the priced books to display, and going to a fundraising banquet meeting at 3. The crankiness should wear off quickly - gotta love seeing books like "All the French Your Cat Needs to Know" and "50 Jobs Worse Than Yours."

I MUST remember to call for a bulk trash pickup tomorrow. Gotta get that Christmas tree outa here! Not to mention the foosball table box and huge pile of porch debris.

And just to make it interesting, I think I'd better tackle the day without the benefit of sugar. Twelve itty bitty boxes on the family room floor are telling me I've had quite enough for this week.

Hey I get to wake up by the same alarm clock you have. I haven't figured out how to change the jiggle, jiggle, jiggle routine yet. Mine goes off at 6:30 every morning rain or shine.

Ugh! At least for me it's only once or twice a week, ALTHOUGH, I have an insomniac houseguest who is usually up at 4 or 5am and I hear that and often have trouble getting back to sleep. And then I get up late and all off my groove!

And Flutterbug, you're right...I admit it; and they were too accessible! Although I probably would have ransacked your room if you had hidden them!
