Now That's Power

A bit blustery at the beach this evening.

We thought it would be nice to take a picnic and walk the dogs. So we shivered our way through egg salad sandwiches and headed quickly along the boardwalk to warm up.

That's King Neptune keeping an eye on things.

This is a homeless guy completely covered up in a sheet.

A little fog and chill can't take away the charm of the sea. The power of God is so beautifully displayed in the roar of the waves, in the churn and roil of the water.

And only God can control the sea, and only God can control the nations, and only God can control my life. Ahhh, the peace in knowing that!

Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!

You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,
O God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas,

who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.
--Psalm 65

Nice photos, and it looks like Mike will get his exercise just keeping that new dog reined in!

Check my comments under your previous blog. I'm a little tardy in making my own brand of humor in response, and I'm not sure you would see these comments if I didn't mention it here.
