More trees!
We hung several other pieces of (purchased) artwork, put together an unusual lamp and a bookcase (pure torture), and arranged the furniture. One more painting session and the mural should be basically done. I had intended trees with leaves, but I'm afraid to do it! So maybe I'll save that for a day when I'm feeling all bold and confident and a bit reckless. In the meantime, winter birch trees will do nicely. Mike found a piece of art at Kirkland's with birches in it which will be across the room.
Next week I must work on taxes (a little early, I know, but I've been working on my procrastination issues) so I'm not sure how much else I'll get done. I DID finally get the kitchen floor raked up, and I even washed a few dishes for good measure.
Still no sign of the elusive Raisin Bran. In a rather traitorous move, I bought a box of Grape Nuts today. I must move on.

I like the trees. :) Maybe you could add a flying cardinal for a flash of red.
That's a good idea, because there' a touch of red here and there in the room. Cool!
Nuts! I can't figure out how to delete the first comment that was me! I didn't know I was in Jasmine's acct!
There you go! Only thing, now I don't know how to delete the "comment deleted" thingy!!
Again, I love the birches, especially that they're the "white" birches of New Hampshire. Hope I'll get to see them in person some day (the ones in your mural), but will probably see the NH ones sooner. :)
P.S. Don't forget to sign and date your artwork for posterity!
....did gramma just you have a big bum?
To Flutterbug:
You had better be careful, young lady, or I'll be applying the board of education to your POSTERIOR and if you don't hurry up I won't be able to tell all your POSTERITY about it! HaHa!
