Peculiar in Pink

It's a hoodie-footie kind of night.

So I'm channeling Ralphie Parker, and spending the evening curled up in front of the woodstove, with an assortment of dogs and family members and blankets. And Fig Newtons! (Never underestimate the comfy-ness of Fig Newtons.)

I love Sundays. We dress up, we worship, we rest, we spend time together.

 How lovely is your dwelling place,
 O Lord Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.

Better is one day in your courts
than thousands elsewhere...
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless.
--Psalm 84

 Isn't He GOOD to us!

We did the same today, only our "assortment" of animals is down to one (who loves to join us in front of the fireplace.)

My kind of Sunday!
It was awesome seeing you at the store. Although I was a tad scatterbrained. Just out to take my mind off the pup.
Thanks for thinking about us and our loss. We do miss him so very much. He was so much a part of our every day. So many years and so many memories.
My blog is a problem...I am trying to figure it out. My friend who usually helps me with glitches is on a bloggy break. Dear hubby is clueless ( hows that for a computer wiz!).
Putting together more "stuff" for the store this week. It seems to be a get rid of excess year...now if I could just get rid of this excess fat...:)
